Female residents promote development of bike infrastructure in the fast-paced Ukrainian capital

Dozens of female cyclists gathered in the center of Kyiv to advocate the development of bicycle infrastructure in the Ukrainian capital. Campaigners hope to increase awareness of alternative means of transportation.

Kyiv resident, Olga Yampolskaya: “We want to show Ukraine that bicycle can be used in everyday life and not for entertainment only.”

The older generation of Kyiv residents also took part in the event.
